Representative Basketball

Representative basketball is an exciting opportunity for the top players in the Port Fairy Basketball Association.

The Port Fairy Pacers represent our association in competitions against other associations and teams throughout the region.

These teams are led by experienced volunteer coaches who are passionate about the sport and dedicated to helping players reach their full potential.

The squad coordinator oversees the running of the Pacers program and is responsible for advertising for expressions of interest from potential coaches mid-year. Following the appointment of coaches, there will be tryouts for each team, selection of the teams, and then training will then begin in preparation for competing in tournaments.

It’s important to note that while the domestic competition is open to players of all abilities, representative basketball is reserved for the top players in each age division. Players and their parents/guardians are required to sign the PFBA Squad Guide, which outlines the expectations and commitments required for participation.
