The summer season is played over terms 4 and 1 of the school calendar while the winter season runs over terms 2 and 3. Teams can now register through the link provided on the PFBA website. Once a team has been registered, the team organiser will receive a team link to be forwarded to players to enable them to register into the correct team. There is a $35 fee per player for the season to register to Port Fairy Basketball Association, an $9 weekly game fee and an additional yearly insurance fee set by Basketball Victoria. Teams must provide their own jerseys with visible numbers. A scorer must be provided for each game or rotate bench players to score. The season commences on Monday May 1, 2023.
