Juniors

The junior domestic basketball competition is for children and runs weekly during school terms.

The summer season is played over terms 4 and 1 of the school calendar while the winter season runs over terms 2 and 3.

There is an upfront fee per player for the season to register to Port Fairy Basketball Association, and an additional yearly insurance fee set by Basketball Victoria.

Playing singlets are provided for each player, which remain property of the Port Fairy Basketball Association and must be returned at the conclusion of each season. Players are required to wear their own black shorts with no pockets. Each team will be assigned a coach by the coaching coordinator, who will mostly be a family member of one of the players.

The coaching coordinator will put out a call for those interested in coaching prior to each season. Parents or guardians are requested to score games when needed. For any questions, please contact portfairybasketball@gmail.com.
